“We are gradually being conditioned to accept CRISPR foods that are grown in labs on pee-tree dishes. We live in the upside down where we have to go out of our way & pay extra for food that hasn’t been grown or sprayed with toxic chemicals that are known to cause all sorts of auto-immune disorders. “
Plant-Based Company Calls For ‘Meat Aisle’ To Be Renamed ‘Protein Aisle’
‘One of the challenges is that vegetarians and vegans don’t really want to go down the meat aisle’
Plant-based brand, The Meatless Farm Co, has called for the meat aisle in grocery stores to be renamed the ‘the protein aisle’.
The company, which recently debuted its meat-free products in the US after securing a deal with Whole Foods, says it has been pushing UK retailers to be ‘brave’ by putting its plant-based meat and other vegan brands on the same shelves an animal-meat.
“It’s not in the meat aisle yet in Europe or the U.K. but we are moving towards that,” Founder, Morten Toft Bech, told MarketWatch.
“The vision is that you walk into a supermarket and it’s no longer called the meat aisle but it’s called the protein aisle – where there is a whole bunch of protein, some of which is from animals and, hopefully, a lot of which is not.”
In other news: The UN announced its Sustainable Development Goals for 2015 — one of which included halving “global food waste at retail and consumer levels” by 2030. Just one week earlier, the USDA and EPA joined together to announce the same goal within the United States. So if food waste as the issue du jour has been in the air since the early 2000s, what was the catalyst? And why did it take so long for us to catch on?
Departmentalization & propaganda is exactly why things have gone off the rails.
The claims that the Amazon is “the world’s lungs” and that fires in it will destroy air quality across the globe are equally dubious, as Forbes environmental writer Michael Shellenberger notes:Debunking The Rainforest Fire Hysteria
I was curious to hear what one of the world’s leading Amazon forest experts, Dan Nepstad, had to say about the “lungs” claim.
“It’s bullshit,” he said. “There’s no science behind that. The Amazon produces a lot of oxygen but it uses the same amount of oxygen through respiration so it’s a wash.”

CRISPR food is coming: How gene editing will change agriculture
Agriculture observers see tomatoes, mushrooms, wheat, and corn among the first to benefit from the hot new techniqueThese four foods are ripe for CRISPR gene editing
In the 1980s, researchers discovered how some bacteria used gene-editing to defend against viral DNA. The bacteria used special enzymes to cut, copy and store bits of viral DNA for future reference.
Twenty years later, researchers determined the DNA of any organism could be snipped. By 2012, biologists Jennifer Doudna and Emmanuelle Charpentier demonstrated how CRISPR could precisely edit an organism’s genome. It changed everything.
With CRISPR, scientists can literally edit organisms, removing the bits that lead to unfavorable outcomes.
So…What About Hemp Products?
“American farmers are promised a new cash crop… and it will provide thousands of jobs for American workers throughout the land”– Popular Mechanics in 1938
A year later sweeping prohibitions on hemp killed any hope for farmers seeing this cash crop bare fruit. The talking points & politics of today focus solely on recreational use neglecting to point out the myriad of other non-psychoactive uses for this perfect plant from raw building materials, cloth & textiles; a plastic alternative as well as many foods.
Good Seed Burger developed protein-packed veggie burgers based off hemp seeds as the main ingredient. Hemp flour: Is the by-product after pressing the oil. Hemp seed is approximately 30% oil and 70% residue. The hard pellets or ‘cake ‘ are then finely ground to make the flour. Ice cream can also be made with hemp and these are just a few examples.
Amidst the fever driving us closer towards the Technocracy, it is clear the tactics are to favor once again the synthetic money driven abominations over natural products like hemp. So what are the billionaires spending their millions on?
“I watched the piles of feces go up the conveyer belt and drop into a large bin. They made their way through the machine, getting boiled and treated. A few minutes later I took a long taste of the end result: a glass of delicious drinking water.”— Bill Gates
If that weren’t bad enough DARPA wants to make you eat your own trash. Of coarse all in the name of sustainability & the UN objectives mentioned above. And it doesn’t stop there, it gets even worse….
Scientist Says Eating Human Flesh Will Save Planet From Climate Change. A Swedish scientist suggests that it may be necessary to turn to cannibalism and start eating human flesh to save the planet (giving new meaning to the expression bite me) And NO this story is not from The Onion.A conference about the food of the future called Gastro Summit being held in Stockholm Sweden featured a presentation by Magnus Söderlund claiming that we must get used to the idea of eating human flesh in the future, as a way of combating the effects of climate change.— Magnus Söderlund
Adapting to the unfamiliar
Though accusations of cannibalism have often been falsely made to demonize groups, it isn’t absent from human history. The Fore people of Papua New Guinea were reported to have participated in funerary cannibalism, believing it better that the body was eaten by people who loved the deceased than by worms and maggots. Parts of mummies were eaten for medicinal purposes in post-Renaissance Europe.
We suspect that we could adapt to human flesh if need be. Many people develop disgust for all kinds of meat, while morticians and surgeons quickly adapt to the initially difficult experience of handling dead bodies. Our ongoing research with butchers in England suggests that they easily adapt to working with animal parts that the average consumer finds quite disgusting.
Thankfully for most of us, there is no need to overcome our repulsion for the foreseeable future. Some philosophers have argued that burying the dead could be wasteful in the context of the fight against world hunger—but there are much more palatable alternatives on the table than a haunch of human. We can shift to eating more plants and less meat to conserve resources lost by feeding plants directly to livestock. Insects can meet our protein needs, and there is the prospect of cultured meat technology.
